The True North Physical Therapy Story

Hi! I'm Dr. Erika Spampinato PT, DPT, CSCS, the owner of True North Physical Therapy. I'm so happy that you are here! I have been a physical therapist since 2018 and have a broad range of experience reaching from some limited pediatrics to outpatient physical therapy and home care. I have seen individuals as young as 7 years old to as old as 105 years old. I have a background in sports and exercise science, which is how I became interested in becoming a physical therapist.

I graduated from Winona State University in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in movement science with a minor in nutrition. I also obtained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification at that time and worked as a personal trainer throughout grad school. In 2018, I graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with my clinical doctorate in physical therapy and am licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.

With all the changes the Covid-19 pandemic brought to our world, telehealth physical therapy was definitely a silver lining. At True North Physical Therapy, my goal is to help as many people as possible. As a busy individual myself, I know how hard it can be to make appointments to take care of your own health. That is why I have started this business - to better serve active and busy individuals no matter where they are so that they can start treatment for their injuries quickly without a referral from a doctor. We can do this by offering physical therapy through remote therapeutic monitoring! My top goal is to meet all of my patients where they are at physically, financially, and emotionally. With these cash-based services, I have the flexibility to offer several different treatment options that all offer great results with time, effort, and consistency.

When I am not working or growing my business, you can usually find me juggling between time spent working on my own personal health, or spending time with my husband (Mike), dogs (Panda and Ranger), as well as with our many family and friends. My favorite activities include weightlifting and enjoying the beautiful outdoors and cooking.

I hope we can connect soon! To get more information and see if you are a good fit for starting  your adventure with True North Physical Therapy, please choose one of the options below.
